Co-Work Kittanning Seeks Applicants, Offering Affordable Working Spaces And Shared Amenities

Opening Planned for May 2012

March 22^nd, 2012 (Kittanning, PA) – (AC Properties, LLC) plans to  host a co-working facility called Co-Work Kittanning. The goal is create an affordable and collaborative workspace to stimulate new business formation and growth.

Co-working is a growing trend that provides low cost office space and amenities to start-ups and entrepreneurs. The objective is to provide an environment where ideas and business and can flourish. This will give entrepreneurs not only space to grow, but also access to variety of fellow entrepreneurs and other resources crucial to establishing and expanding a small business or start up.

According to owner Darren Stolitza, “We’re very excited to be leading this project. Co-Work Kittanning will provide new and established small businesses and start ups with an environment that will foster and facilitate business growth. Longer term, we expect these start-ups to expand and ‘graduate’ from the co-working environment, and move into a space of their own. Start-ups are essential for regional economic development and job creation, and co-working has emerged as an effective way to accelerate business formation and expansion.”

The facility will be located in downtown Kittanning, adjacent to the Armstrong County Courthouse. The facility will have an open floor plan.  Amenities will include wireless Internet access, presentation equipment, a conference room and office essentials such as a printer, scanner, fax. And oh yea, lots of coffee. There also will be scheduled lunch and learn sessions, where outside professionals will come in and share ideas on specific business topics that will help the Co-Work Kittanning community.

Memberships start at $10 for a day pass, $100 monthly for part-time access and $175 monthly for full access. Applications will be made available on RefreshKittanning.com in the near future. Applicants will be required to complete an application to be considered. The initial space is expected to open in mid-May.
